Final Brackets: 2018 CBI Brackets

The 11th Annual Clay Berry Invitational is in the record books. I would like to thank everyone who came out to watch a great weekend of baseball. It was a memorable weekend for the players and coaches. They had an opportunity to play on the same field as the West and North West Region All Star teams before going to Williamsport. The teams got the chance to create memories and enjoy the full experience by sleeping in the dorms, eating meals together with the other teams, and making new friendships that will last a lifetime.

Congratulations to the San Carlos Brewers for winning the tournament!! I would like to thank all the volunteers that helped to make the weekend enjoyable. The many umpires that came out from the different leagues. We also had District 55 send umpires. The San Carlos parents for organizing and staffing the snack bar. Parents enjoyed all the food!

This all could not be possible for the Western region staff!! Thank you April Meehleder, who is Regional Director and Brian Pickering, Assistant Regional Director for allowing us to use the complex and having volunteers open up the souvenir stand all three days. The kitchen staff for being there to cook and serve the players and coaches all their meals. The maintenance staff for helping keep the park clean.

Finally, a big thank you to Clay Berry, Ric Castanon, and Sami Kern. This weekend wouldn't have been a success without you!!
