Our annual District Awards Dinner was held on May 3th at the Riverwalk Golf Course. Our theme for this year was "Masquerade" and many dressed the part. A special "thank you" goes out to Angela Engquist, D33 Event Coordinator for putting together another outstanding and memorable event.
The majority of our league board members were in attendance. We believe that everyone had a good time sharing stories and getting away from the baseball field for the evening. The Riverwalk Golf Course catering department provided a delicious buffet dinner for everyone to enjoy.
Gifts cards were donated by leagues and were raffled off to lucky ticket holders and a 50/50 draw for $410.00 was handed out to one lucky winner. Congratulations to Kevin Jones from the Patriot League for having the winning ticket. Here is a picture of him receiving his cold hard cash from Sami Kern, D33 Treasurer.
Clay Berry, Pete Gregorivic, Mark Beall, David Graham, Nancy Hemmings and Randy Herold, had the honors of presenting the following 2025 awards to these outstanding volunteers in our local leagues. Be sure to thank the award recipients when you see them at the fields for all their hard work and dedication to the youth of San Diego.
